To celebrate the release of Tha Carter V, we followed Lil Wayne across five cities for his Fan Appreciation Tour, creating a mini documentary that captured the connection between one of hip-hop's greatest artists and the fans who had been waiting years for the album's arrival.

Rather than focusing solely on the performances, we documented the moments in between—the anticipation backstage, the energy inside each venue, and the unwavering loyalty of fans who helped make Tha Carter one of the most celebrated series in hip-hop history. The film became a portrait of gratitude, celebrating an artist whose music has soundtracked generations.

Growing up in the Midwest, Lil Wayne's music was everywhere. To witness firsthand the relationship he built with his fans over decades and document a pivotal moment in his career was a privilege.
